Ivanka Trump’s one-on-one interview with Fox & Friends’ Ainsley Earhardt was fairly brief, but included the first daughter revealing that her children call Air Force One “the candy plane.”
That was in response to a question from Earhardt over whether Ivanka’s young children understand that their grandfather is President of the United States.
“They do understand that, in a limited capacity,” she said. “They call Air Force One the Candy Plane.”
“Because there’s lots of M&M’s and trays of candy,” she added.
“Call it Air Force Fun! If it’s the candy plane,” anchor Steve Doocy said after the interview.
Earhardt’s interview with Ivanka included questions about life in Washington D.C. and her faith.
“What is it like to live in the swamp?” Earhardt asked.
“It’s been an unbelievable journey,” Ivanka said, before noting how great an opportunity it is to be able to work in the White House.
“I know you converted, what made you want to do that?” Earhardt asked — the first daughter converted to Judaism prior to her marriage with Jared Kushner, an Orthodox jew.
“It’s a very personal decision, so I tend not to talk about my faith too openly,” Ivanka said.
