James Carville To Imus: President Obama – ‘He’s A Lucky, Lucky, Lucky Guy’

James Carville spoke to Fox Business Network’s Don Imus on Tuesday morning about the state of the presidential race, and how Republicans are allegedly, desperately seeking his advice. “I’m out there speaking to [Republicans] and talking to them and they’re just like flinching,” Carville snarked. “‘God, what are we going to do, Mr. Carville?!’ I’m like, ‘I don’t know, why ask me.’”

“I don’t think the president is so great either, but–” Imus replied.

“You know what, he is — if this president, if I had anything in the world I would love to do? I would love to go to Las Vegas and stand by him at a craps table. ‘Mr. President, you just throw the dice. I’ve got my money on every roll,’” the Ragin’ Cajun quipped. “He’s a lucky, lucky, lucky guy.”

Carville observed that none of the 2012 Republican presidential candidates could defeat Obama — but unforseen events could.

“Right now, things are starting to perk up a little bit,” Carville acknowledged. “Who knows? This is the — no Republican can beat Obama. Events can beat Obama. He’s not going to get beat by a Republican. Now events could come in and cause him to lose the election. But that’s it right now. That was not the case three months ago.”

When does Carville return to his home planet?

Over 60% of Republicans would like a Different cannidate.. Romney continues to not connect with regular voters, and Rick Santorum is so off the wall he has no chance at winning in November. I don’t think it’s luck as much as it’s the GOP doing their best to show incompetent they are. And Obama hasn’t even started to campagin yet, these clowns are doing his work for him at the moment.

    Carville is swine.

Why Do you insult us ? Is this your ‘new era of civility’ ?

And some will still wonder why the opposition has no interest to work with the left. It’s not easy to compromise with people who insult us on a daily basis.

umm, you can wake up now.

James Carville should always appear with Mary Matalin.

    LOL!  You wish…

I wish I could deflect as well as you.

Read comments on Fox News. Tell me how the “new era of civility” looks there.

News for YOU, we have no damn interest to “compromise” with a$$ backwards lunatics. That day ended when OWS was born. So in summary, take your klan rally flea circus on the road. The rest of America is moving forward on the economy, where it really matters.

  • batlcrewzer

No not yet, his government supplied medicaid scooter still has a little more charging to do. You don’t want him to run out in the middle of a stormfront march.

  • The Real Royal Emperor

Because, by comparison, he doesn’t look so bad?

I know that you have no interest either to compromise. But Barack Obama has lost the House in 2010 (and will probably lose the Senate as well in 2012). If you want to accomplish something, it’s better to move to the center, cool down the rhetoric and stop insulting us.

The GOP race has been framed as a “clown car” of candidates by the media, and each candidate has been caricatured as the following:
Santorum: A women-hating, theocracy-wanting, sweater vest-wearing, weird funeral-having, religious zealot who wants to take over women’s uterus’s and stop people from doing anything in the bedroom save for sleep.
Paul: A cranky, nutty, racist, militia-encouraging, pot-legalizing, fed-hating, end-all-war fantasizing, radical libertarian curmudgeon.
    Gingrich: A heartless, pompous, unstable, loud-mouthed, two-timing, pot-bellied, gray-haired, draft-dodging, Reagan-wanna-be blowhard.
Romney: A silver-spooned, middle-class hating, Wall St. owned, tax-dodging, dog-loathing, flip-flopping, phony, elitist 1 percenter Investment banker Mormon.
No wonder Team Obama is not worried.

No, we need the whole government to move to the left.

Republicans are going to get wiped out this November.

The same reason it was $4 a gallon in 2008 during the Bush administration.

  • Anonymous

Of course, the Republicans make it really easy to believe these things about them. Every time they open their mouths.

Why do all of you dullards argue with each other when both parties are really on the same side. Have you lost all of your critical thinking abilities? Start judging these D.C. idiots on their actions, not on their empty and hollow promises. There hasn’t been a true two party system for decades. The hate and finger pointing that goes on in this country is nauseating. While you distract each other and waste everyone’s time by hurling insults at each other, this once great nation slips more into the abyss. It is absolutely pathetic what we have become.
