And the passengers are not the only lucky ones,had the attack been successful the fortunes of many in DC would have forever changed.

People have to accept some facts. At the end of the day, your % of getting killed in a car, by a car or stung by a bee are much higher than being killed in an airplane which have over 1 million flights per day.

At the end of the day, unless we choose to strip search and body cavity search every human being who takes a plane, there is no freaking way we can ever be 100% safe.

(If) there are 1 million people on the no-fly list (guessing a number here), then we can assume there are 2 million on the “watch list”.. and then there are 3 million on the “kinda keep an eye on them list”.. and so forth.

This kid was way down the list.

What needs to be investigated is (if) the father did report his son’s behavior to the Embassy in his country, then it is at THAT local we need to track back to see why that info wasn’t reviewed, sent on to the appropriate authorites, etc.

Now here we are today with another so called “incident” which so far has turned out to be a guy who spent an hour in the bathroom, airplane crew questioned him, then he got verbally abusive. Now they are making a mountain out of a mole hill out of this and have so far found NOTHING.

He is also covering for Napolitano saying she is studying this new event and hasn’t said anything because they don’t want to alarm the public, yet there is CNN showing this new incident, with luggage spread all over the runway (for inspection purposes presumably), but no one from the WH or DHS is saying anything because no one knows what happened.

NWA Flight 253 from Amsterdam requested emergency landing due to unruly passenger. Same airline, same flight number from Christmas day. Same scenario — someone spent a long time in the restroom, then became disruptive.

Maybe you should have kept your gunpowder dry until after Napolitano’s appearance on CNN. You know where Napolitano stated to CNN to assure the public that air environment safe:

Napolitano: that {Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab} ‘was 1 individual literally of thousands that fly and thousands of flights every year’.

You know, like 1 bomb attempt out of thousands of flghts pretty good odds. CNN mentions back to Napolitano “it only takes 1″ as if to say to Napolitano, don’t use that line any more because comes off tone deaf or the press will eat you alive for that comment and if I were you (Napolitano) I would think up a rational follow up to that 1 in thousands comment for tomorrow. You’ll need it.

This is where the media plays a very valuable role in pushing government and making more public the policies and procedures such as “ties list”, screening, no-fly etc.

And Michael Moore had the audacity to criticize Bush in the first minutes on 9/11 — we’ve got a President that can’t get it right for days, weeks, and months.
