Juan Williams And Hannity Spar Over Netanyahu’s ‘Totally Inappropriate’ White House Scolding

video

The fallout over Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu‘s visit to the White House in which he boldly denied the negotiation request on the 1967 borders of his nation continues, as the night after Sean Hannity interviewed Netanyahu, Juan Williams came on the show to bash Netanyahu for his “act of arrogance” against President Obama, in the White House. The dynamic sparring session had Williams attacking the Mideast status quo while Hannity asserted the President was to blame for “sandbagging” Netanyahu.

Hannity made it clear on whose team he was playing right off the bat: “Obama looks like the academic, and here’s Bibi Netanyahu living in the real world.” Williams’ perspective was the exactly converse: it was Netanyahu, Williams argued, who had been “totally inappropriate” in his talk with the President. “I would never imagine that President Obama would be visiting Israel,” Williams argued, “and would do such a thing to Netanyahu.” Hannity was comfortable with the harsh words because, he argued, Obama had been “sandbagging him with the 1967 borders,” to which Williams responded that “every president has said that you cannot have Israel as an occupying force” and President Obama in particular had “been very clear the United States is totally dedicated to the security of Israel.” Williams went so far as to note the Wall Street Journal had classified the speech as one “that could have been delivered by a true blue conservative.”

Wow Juan Williams is that you? Thank you so much Mr. Williams. Anyone who supports Bibi dressing down our President in the oval office the way he did, needs to find another country to live in.

  • Dem4Ever

Barack needed to be taught a lesson and our Jewish friend was just the guy to do it.  It was a bitch-slapping of EPIC proportions.  Barry will never try that BS again.

You might want to re-read that. You just said those that disagree with you, those that would actually criticize your messiah president shouldn’t live in this free country. You know, the country with free speech.

Okay I will talk slow, I believe and will always believe that we as American citizens can bitch about our President all we want, if you live here and are a permanent citizen then you are offered that right.

What makes me want to pull my hair out is when the leader of a foreign country comes to the oval office and bitchslaps our President in front of the world, and you people side with a foreign leader, not your President. Everything you represent in this aspect is completely Unamerican and should be destroyed.

People really need to do some research before the shoot off their mouths, which includes Hannity whose more of an amusement than someone to be taken seriously

    1. Obama sandbagged the president?

Seriously? Unless the president’s been out of touch with what has been said about Israel in the past he should should know that Presidents back to the time of Clinton have been on the position that the 67 borders is where the negotiations should start from, Obama is the first sitting president with the Stones to actually go on the record, nothing more, this not some new radical idea, that cats been out of the bag for a LONG time

    2. according to polls, around 57% of the people in Israel are ok with what President Obama outlined, look it up if you don’t belive me, so now Hannity thinks he knows better that the citizens of the country he claims to be looking out for?

    3. I would hope no one actually takes what Hannity says at face value, Hannity is not his big brother Bill O Riley who can actually back up what he says with some reasonable and rationale facts compared to Hannity who twists the facts to suit his theories and than have O Riley bail him out every time Jon Stewart or anyone else calls him out for his BS

I hate to ruin your Democrat talking points – but Obama went where no American president has ever gone, at least not publicly:

Bill Clinton got Arafat and Ehud Barak together for talks – but he never formally stated a U.S. position on Israel’s borders. Actually, Barak (from the Israeli left) offered a state with the ’67 borders to Arafat – and Arafat turned it down.

George W. Bush’s position was set forth in the Roadmap To Peace. Look it up – it says nothing about Israel returning to the ’67 borders. And in fact, in 2004, Bush sent a letter to PM Sharon which outlined the U.S. position and it specifically stated that the U.S. would never pressure Israel to return to the ’67 borders, since they are indefensible and would result in a divided Jerusalem. A large majority in congress approved of the Bush letter. Look THAT up.

Obama’s comments last Thursday were outrageous and dangerous – particularly in light of the fact that the more moderate Fatah party recently formed a unity government with Hamas. Obama was basically saying that Israel should negotiate with Hamas, a terrorist organization, using the ’67 borders as a starting point.

There’s simply no doubt that Obama is viewing things from a pro-Palestinian perspective. Consider that in his 2009 Cairo speech, and again on Thursday, he spoke of the Israeli “occupation.” What right do we have to say anything at all about what Israel’s borders should be? They acquired the Golan Heights in ’67 from Syria, after Syria attacked THEM, and they acquired East Jerusalem from Jordan after Jordan attacked. In the early 80′s, Jordan relinquished any claim to East Jerusalem and the West Bank.

I ask you, how would we react if the Mexican president went public and stated that WE should cease our occupation of Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and California, and return to our 1845 borders?

As far as the Netanyahu-Obama confrontation in the Oval Office, what would you expect? That Bibi bow down to the great Obama and NOT defend his own country? Lastly, where can I find this poll that says that 57% of Israelis support comments? I know for a fact that less than 10% of Israelis approve of Obama in general, and I got that from the Jerusalem Post. Even leftist Dana Milbank wrote a piece yesterday stating that Obama had managed to unite Israelis behind Netanyahu. Look “that” one up.

Careful, my friend, the racist and I mean racist cowards of “La Raza” want exactly that outcome. So what that they could not govern any better than the corrupt and decadent government of Mexico does now inside their own borders, they want what is not theirs pure and simple.

The sad and tragic part is that the only way to negotiate with a terrorist is to send him or her to their god of choice before he/she sends you to your god of choice. That is tragic, but it is reality. If the Arab neighbors truly wanted to aid the Palestinian’s, they would pony up their land. The other Arab Nations use the Palestinians as useful tools to keep their people in check. “It’s all the Jew’s fault, it’s all America’s fault,” they say.

The bottom line is that these animals want the Jews dead. They want to smell the scent of long pork burning on the wind, they want to blow holes in the bodies of newborns and they want dance on every Jew’s shattered corpse. Did we forget that Iran was backed by the best ethnic cleansers of the 20th century, those wacky and crazy Nazi’s? Now, who is supplying the Palestinians with rockets, wow what a shock, the Iranians.

Israel won the land they have in war, deal with it. It is called the spoils of war for reason kids.

Exactly. The “Palestinians” are actually a made-up nationality. Prior to WWI, none of those countries were there, but were brought into existence by lines drawn in the sand by the British Empire. So how come nobody ever talks about Jordan, Syria, or Lebanon’s borders? The fact is, after the 1948 war, hundreds of thousands of refugees were created, both Arab and Jew. The majority of the Arab refugees, the so-called Palestinians, were absorbed into Jordan. However, Jordan expelled them when in 1971 they rose up against the Jordanian monarchy. Then in 1973, the PLO under Yassir Arafar joined in another attack against Israel. Since that time, Arab states in the region have simply used the situation to stir up resentment against Israel. Somebody from the left please tell me: why is Israel responsible for these Palestinians, and why is Israel obligated to give up their own land to provide them with a state? Why has the history of this region been so distorted by the media and the left? Why does no one ever pressure Jordan to take these refugees in? I think I know the answer, but I would still like to have someone from the pro-Palestinian left explain it to me.

Right. I referred to it above. But why does no one pressure Jordan to negotiate with them and, if not take them back in, give up some of “their” land? After all, if most of the Palestinians traced their roots, they probably became refugees as the result of Jordan expelling them.

JOINT STATEMENT BY PM NETANYAHU & US SEC CLINTON – Issued on 11 November 2010 by the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Prime Minister Netanyahu and Secretary Clinton had a good discussion today, with a friendly and productive exchange of views on both sides. Secretary Clinton reiterated the United States’ unshakable commitment to Israel’s security and to peace in the region.

‪‪The Prime Minister and the Secretary agreed on the importance of continuing direct negotiations to achieve our goals. The Secretary reiterated that “the United States believes that through good-faith negotiations, the parties can mutually agree on an outcome which ends the conflict and reconciles the Palestinian goal of an independent and viable state, based on the 1967 lines, with agreed swaps, and the Israeli goal of a Jewish state with secure and recognized borders that reflect subsequent developments and meet Israeli security requirements.” Those requirements will be fully taken into account in any future peace agreement.

If waterboy williams isn’t cradling his baby president he in line to spit shine his shoes. America deserves a leader for a president, example Netanyahu, that’s a sharp guy.

Juan Williams is right, Mr.Netanyahu did school Obimbo….wasn’t it great! Watching that mealy-mouth, incompetent clown, forced to eat-it in front of the entire Nation was classic. This clown-president can’t govern this country, and he’s telling a foreign country how to run their’s?

If the president was white Juan would not have said anything, however since he and Obama are black, Obama only 1/2 black, he had to speak up. If they would tell America to give Hawaii back and it not be a state what would Juan say then? Guess it is different. Why does Obama think he can tell other countries how to run themselves?

Netyahoo….is an arrogant ass and a war monger. I was worried when he got elected. Most Israeli’s want peace….this guy is a manipulature …the israeli government is an occupyier…we need a 2 state solution before Israel gets us into WWIII. This is all about a land grab…it has nothing to do with their security. They have nuclear bombs and war machinery the Palestinians could only dream of!!! This whole thing is a joke. We’ve been paying off Israel and all the mid-eastern countries for years. We can’t afford to keep any of them of float anymore and we must stop before we’re a third world country ourselves.

I have said it on previous Posts, that President Obama, and his cabinet, are in way over their heads.

Netanyahu has a decidedly more practical and substantive understanding of human interaction. In other words, Obama, (and his acolytes) is a man of limited experience and abilities. Conversely, Netanyahu has spent his entire life with the apocalypse just across the border. He knows, intimately, good and evil.

The belief that respect comes with the Office of the President, is but a myth in Foreign Relations. The Prime Minister has a lifetime of service to his country, while our President is only beginning his quest for international respect.

Frankly, in this scenario, Netanyahu is the elder and experienced statesman. Ergo, Our President needs to listen, very carefully, to the Prime Minster’s counsel.

Obama has no idea what is happening in the Real World, especially in the life of a normal Israeli. I loved how Obama’s skinny jaw was flexing as Netanyahu told him the reality of life, and Barry did not like it at all, touch titty, Barry! Obama hates it when someone gets in his face and tells him he is wrong, he thinks since he is President, everyone should bow to whatever insanity comes out of those lying blue lips of his. What a Piecer of Trash we have as our leader! America, rid yourself of this Corrupt Chicago Crook in 2012 or we will not survive as a Nation!
