@TfT: Personally, I think CNN should continue down the path they have chosen, maintain what they perceive as credibility and when the public needs them, they’ll be there.

I mean… Coke, Pepsi or Dr. Pepper, they’re all making money and in fact, one of the them is most often distributed by one of the other two (bottler).

That’s something that seems to often go overlooked in the comments to ratings posts, but in addition to be a profitable enterprise, two of the four domestic news networks is actually CNN.

CNN should be so lucky to get an intelligent, thoughtful gal like Sarah on their line-up.
She is solid gold. She could probably beat Susan Boyle in a singing competition.
I know she could bring down a moose with one shot.
It’s great to see that she took some time off to “re-load”.
Running in 2012 is not on her radar.
She can do so many other things that will help our country.
She can sell copies of her book (TfT, did you finish reading it in one sitting like I did?).
That’s the kind of economic stimulus (selling books) that TOTUS cannot provide.
Let’s get them teabaggers whipped up into a frenzy.
If only the McCain would have let her be herself, this country would be headed in the RIGHT direction.

I see that Oprah got her best ratings in two years with the Palin interview; it must have been the live-blog Steve set up for us! :-)

In the meantime, CNN can’t seem to get its mojo back…I’m not sure what caused the massive decline, but they are not making any progress in regaining viewers. Perhaps Klein should go, or at least admit CNN doesn’t do real journalism but opine just like all the other networks but with just way more boring people. Time for a shakeup of talent, and I don’t mean just in Dobbs hour..

@TfT, You are probably right. I am not a Palin fan, but I think the MSM has gone overboard in their negative treatment. Every night “he who must not be named” has been doing stories about her and making snarky, childish comments.

If I recall, Hillary Clinton was turning down their invitations for awhile when they were crapping on her during the election.

Okay, CNN is in last place. But at least they now maintain political correctness 24/7. In their minds, $8 million and lousy ratings are a small price to pay for ideological purity.
