The way I read it, MSNBS was the top network on Sunday evening among viewers within the age range of 25-54. MSNBS won all time ranges within the aforementioned 25-54 demographic save the 7:00pm hour.

This does sound rather remarkable given the fox typically outperforms.

I’m sorry but when I read the headline it seemed as though MSNBC ‘beat’ Fox and did it with authority. Actually, I was trying to be sarcastic. Seriously, if MSNBC lost to fox in overall viewers, why is this even a headline?

The only real rating getter for MSNBC is when they run ‘dateline’ specials. What does that say about their normal on-air schedule. Their documentaries get better ratings then their high paid anchors. I think a test pattern might fare better than their normal cast of characters.

Zakk, its not like FNC was beaten by MSNBC. MSNBC came in 3rd place in prime time. FNC had double the viewership that MSNBC had that night.

MSNBC comes in 3rd place on Sunday night should have been the title.

What was on MSNBC that beat Fox? Was it a Health Care Speical? Or was it a special about the crisis in Iran?
Must have been something incredible to beat Fox news, on a Sunday night.
