I watched Shep during the balloon boy event. He was the best! He knows how to make things so interesting and entertaining at the same time. I hope he makes great money now because CNN and MSNBC would love to steal him to get those ratings.

I think the ratings prove facebook user wrong.

People tune into FNC because they get all sides of the story; they don’t do the Obama talking points day in and day out like MSNBC or CNN. The other cablers get a nice pat on the head from Obama, FNC gets attacked. There IS a reason for that.

Fox does news with all views. The others do news with only the democrat views.

I’m not the biggest Shep fan, but his personality and ability to go with the flow is pretty amazing. Best car chase reporter alive and his election night coverage kicked the others to the gutter, and tonight reporting the outrageous attack at Ft. Hood was spot on.

even though he is at fox, i still like the guy. hes got a great personality and sunny demeanor about him. IMO, he does report news, and so do a few of the other anchors at fox. ive started to like julie banderas, as well.

however, shep’s claim that people watch fox because they think that they report the news is undoubtedly wrong. fox viewers know why they watch fox and they know what they want to hear, and its glenn beck, sean hannity and bill oreilly. the claim that they go to fox for real, actual hard news is ridiculous.

but shep is defending his network and he is also defending his ability to do great journalism, so all the power to him. the rest of fox, not so much.

Shep is so down to earth and non controversial! Unlike Anderson, I don’t think he gives a damn about being a celebrity or being seen with celebrities; he is just interested in bringing viewers the news, that is why he is at the top! Also, unlike Anderson, he seems to respect his audience.

I bet he couldn’t wait to get away from those two cackling idiots Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar.
