When ever I am watching Fox and Friends, I always get the feeling that they are trying too hard.  You know, like the parents who desperately try to be cool around their teenage kids.  It comes off awfully forced.

Pineapple Express and now a comedy show every morning.

It’s not that surprising, he’s gone from a stoner movie to a channel you need to be stoned to believe is in any way fair and balanced.

IMDb and other sites seem to give this movie fairly decent reviews, but I have not yet seen where Doocy was in the movie…..perhaps he was.

But I do suspect that Doocy has been a stoner for a very long time…..maybe even some hard drugs.  The guy is so nuts; he says the most stupid of things.  I think he is severely brain damaged.

This is like a lot of conventional wisdom: bullshit. Denialist behavior has been shown to be a weak indicator of someone being a closet case, but overtly effeminate behavior has not. This makes sense, given the two behaviors implicate different parts of the brain. 
If there’s going to be a Fuppet News, there has to be a Doocy. Look up your standard puppet iconography: you need a hapless clown-faced sympathetic doofussy puppet. Sometimes they aren’t good at their job – Jar Jar Binks – but Doocy’s an effective doofus, able to channel Charles Nelson Reilly & do & say deeply creepy things, yet somehow still able to look into the camera & create some level of confidence suggesting he MIGHT not be nearly the pervy wanker fuppet he plays on F&F… tho he also might be that & a lot worse (latex full body coverrs, antiscream rubber balls, torture tools, yoiks). It’s his ability to create that zone of DOUBT that defines his peculiar genius.
