I wonder if CNN continues to have Lou under contract to prevent him from taking another job or spilling the beans about CNN for a specific amount of time like they did to Aaron Brown when he was pushed aside for Klein’s now tarnished “Golden Boy” Anderson Cooper?

Now we get to see if Lou Dobbs can carry on the tradition of leaving CNN and doing well on another network.
If the problem with the Dobbs program was the same as with Glenn Beck, where the self beloved honchos at CNN did not allow Dobbs to do the program as he saw fit. Now, Dobbs can go elsewhere and do his program his way and become as successful as Beck. It will be interesting to see if Dobbs can get between 2 and 4 million viewers per night on a competitive network such as FNC or if he really has gotten stale. I suspect that it is the network that had become the problem.

Completely wrong, as this morning’s announcement shows. Shouldn’t Olbermann be reporting news and commenting on it, not passing along rumors?

Jealousy is what this is all about. Olbey is so jealous of FOX, Dobbs, Beck and any other media person other than who is on CNN that it must hurt him so much that he has to say all these terrible things. If he would just stick to the news and tell it truthfully he might start feeling like a human being. Poor slob!!!

Who’s Keith Olbermann? Is he that guy EPSN fired because he was so full of himself? Is that the guy SNL made fun of because he always looks like he is about to explode? You’d have to be a pathetic loser to be a liberal and still get slammed by SNL. He’s an idiot only the extreme, hateful left could possibly stomache. I watched his interview with candidate Obama las fall and his questions were all big softballs….one he actually asked what he thought of the “nasty” attacks by the republicans. I think a 9 yr old asked the same question this summer during one of his canned town hall mtgs.

In fairness, the real reason Lou Dobbs left is probably that he wanted an audience, something that CNN doesn’t have.

An audience is good. Keith Olbermann should try to get one some time.
