The FCC only bans profanity in non-late-night hours 6 a.m. - 10 p.m.), so there shouldn't be any FCC ramifications to this. You can F it up in late night, which is nice.

The viral probably helps, so I wouldn't really expect SNL to make too big of a fuss.

What I'd like to know, though; It's "fricking" almost 2010 and Saturday Night Live apparently still doesn't post full episodes online. We can catch the evening news online, something like seventy percent of the network primetime line-up, The Daily Show and Colbert are posted within hours of first broadcast, but a show which would be watched just as religiously by the online set , SNL isn't available in its entirety.

I DVR'd it because of U2; I wouldn't watch SNL otherwise. But I was horrified with the sketches, which I thought were disjointed and muddled. The airplane one with the flight attendants went on WAY too long, and wasn't funny. The TV news 'travel expert' was on Crack or something. One sketch after the other came out like a broken egg. It was horrible. And THEN, in this hyper-political environment, they have to interject their own politics into it. Isn't SNL a place to GET AWAY from that stuff? I mean, people know that NBC is as hyper-political as they come so anything they say will be derided with an 'Oh, it's THEM on NBC again...figures."
