Whoopi Goldberg Fires Back at Fiorina for Slamming The View: ‘We Welcomed You’
The View and Carly Fiorina are now in a big back-and-forth after some of the View hosts joked about Fiorina’s “demented” face at the Republican debate last week. After they got called out on CNN and Fox News, Fiorina responded Sunday and said that there’s a double standard for liberal feminists where they only embrace women who agree with them.
She wanted to know if they would “have the guts to say it to my face.”
Earlier this morning, Fiorina revealed she’s coming back to The View Friday, and on today’s show Whoopi Goldberg both plugged her appearance and responded to Fiorina calling them out.
She said, “The last time you were here… we welcomed you to our table, we helped raise your profile so you would be included in the sea of men.”
Goldberg told Fiorina that she should understand the difference between “when somebody’s coming for you and when somebody is paying you a compliment and when somebody is saying ‘Here’s my observation.'”
She ended by saying, “She wants attention and now she’ll get some.”
