Watch The CNN Republican Debate Live Here

Live Video

While it may feel like a lifetime, it has been all but about a month since the last time the four remaining (now that Buddy Roemer is running as an independent). Much has happened since then– Rick Santorum winning all three primary states on “mini-Tuesday,” shocking most with his win in Colorado; Newt Gingrich‘s almost complete disappearance from the scene, Mitt Romney and Ron Paul hanging about even.

The debate, hosted in Mesa, Arizona, where there will be a primary next week (on Super Tuesday), is sponsored by CNN and will be moderated by John King. The news cycle it is arriving to is replete with social issues, and Santorum in particular is expected to have to explain some of the comments he made regarding Christianity that have recently surfaced.

I’m thinking of opening a torch and pitchfork concession for the easily excitable audience. I will be richer than Willard.

I’m struggling to find 1 single minority in the crowd!!

You would think there might be at least 1, but I guess not… I wonder why??

Nice try, but looking to see if the Republican crowd is a diverse representation of this country!!

It appears it isn’t and you seem to fine with that!!

I want to hear them ask , Do you belive that Military spending can be cut in 1/2 and our freedom and safety here in the United States stay the same as it is now or be improved?

Newt Gingrich, the only Speaker reprimanded for ethics violation, said “no one trusts government.”

Romney just called his own healthcare plan “Romneycare”

Ron Paul just gave the b.tch slap to Santorum with an excellent answer on pro-life/Roe vWade and state’s rights.

I applaud the audiance for making the CNN moderator acknowledge Ron Paul’s oppinion on Rowe Vs. Wade and state vs federal rights.

Looks like Obama won again! These Yayhoos talked about him more than ever. They keep throwing Reagan name out like it will get them elected, it will not!

Note that Newt is the only speaker ever reprimanded for ethics violations, Romney has no discernible opinion- he is paying people to poll and make his opinions for him, Santorum would turn the US into some kind of right wing theocracy.  Damnit- South Carolina…it is time to cut the wheel in the opposite direction.  We need less of the same, and something different, lest China begin to over take us.  Ron Paul!  The constitution was framed by very smart men, who created the longest running constitutional democracy in US History.  A vote for Paul is a vote for the constitution- YOU think is most in touch with the average American.  This post is written by a proud former United States Marine, and damn near every veteran I talk to will vote for Paul.  Change the country.  Semper Fi.

Am I the only one who thinks that Ron Paul is being illegitemized by the media.  In the closing they showed the other candidates faces and cut off Ron Paul’s.

  • Pablo

I was struck by that too. It can’t be a rookie mistake when you’ve been campaigning for 5 years.

    Paul 2012????    Yep  I am!

Please take just one percent of the time you take to comment on these stories and go out and vote Paul! They want you to believe by commenting in support for Dr.Paul. You really make a difference. The only and I mean only true difference you can or ever will make is to get your butt up and vote for him! Your comments really mean nothing! They want us distracted in believing our comments here mean something!!! After two days this story is gone!! Dont tell me how you feel about Ron Paul! Go tell your neighbor and friends boss or enemy how you feel about him! they want us and they count on us getting our frustrations out here.Where they can some what have CONTROL of what we say. Get your frustrations out where it counts. Talk talk talk to real people who in turn can talk to real people about the good Dr.Paul!

Trust me if we are not careful they will turn our greatest asset’s against us.Right now our asset is the internet. The word of mouth, Historically it has always been and always will be our greatest asset!!!!!GO Speak of him and with much heart and conviction and we can not be denied!!

Do not trust this box no more than you would trust your tv “box”.
If ever we let our guard down it will be our own undoing!

They stop at nothing. So to we must never stop or trust in nothing but our own convictions

    no your not

Thru it all, Ron Paul stands tall, while the others grovel…because of their OWN past voting records.

  • Anonymous

No, you definitely are a racist.

  • Jackson Baer

Ron Paul is the only one who stands for anything. He leaves the campaign trail to vote against the debt ceiling because he cares more about principle than a few damn votes. I’m thankful for his honesty and consistency, agree with him or not. He’s got my vote even though I disagree with a few of his stances. At least I know he won’t go back on his word.

  • Woman.For.Paul. Now

Ron Paul, a patriot, who has honorably served his country, defends both the constituion and civil liberties, and is for peace and properity. Dr. Paul has the wisdom, foresight, honesty and integrity to be president.
Dr. Paul believes spending and deficits are simply sinking this county. Dr. Paul’s budget plan would save $1 trillion in the first year. Various frontrunners in the 2012 presidential election — Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich, Rick Perry — have all largely supported big-government Republicanism. These so called “conservative” Republicans have exhibited neither the intention nor the political will of changing the status quo in Washington.
Besides the spending cuts, there are other issues of importance to voters. For conservatives, Dr. Paul scores an A+ on all of them: Second Amendment protection, pro-life record, right-to-work, pro-business, anti-tax, states’ rights, you name it.
Dr. Paul also believes America should have the strongest national defense on earth — which he believes begins with not trying to constantly police the earth. Right now, our government puts our best and bravest in harm’s way on a regular basis for questionable reasons and with no discernible notion of victory. This is not supporting the troops. It’s abusing them. Dr. Paul wants an end to this absurb, costly policy.
The voters have declared Dr. Paul the alternative to the liberal, flip flopping Mitt Romney. The other candidates are simply irrelevant.
Dr. Paul isn’t simply the “best” Republican candidate to tackle our nation’s problems – he’s the only candidate willing to do so. Heading into 2012, the question for Republican voters is not whether they can afford to vote for Dr. Paul – it’s whether they can afford not to.
    America Needs Ron Paul.
