Trump on Voter Fraud: ‘Cheat At Your Own Peril’

On Saturday, President Donald Trump warned that those who may be thinking of engaging in voter fraud should “cheat at your own peril.”

“All levels of government and Law Enforcement are watching carefully for VOTER FRAUD, including during EARLY VOTING,” Trump wrote. “Cheat at your own peril. Violators will be subject to maximum penalties, both civil and criminal!”

Trump’s voter fraud claim is a re-upping of a previous claim about voter fraud that ultimately led to the convening of the Presidential Commission on Election Integrity in May 2017.

That commission, led by now Republican gubernatorial candidate in Kansas Kris Kobach was ultimately disbanded without proving widescale voter fraud.

Trump blamed states for refusing to cooperate.
