Tim Kaine continues to kill it in terms of eating and drinking on the campaign trail. Just last week, he went to Parkway Bakery in New Orleans. Now he’s in North Carolina, and last night he went to Catawba Brewing Company in Asheville, where, following a campaign rally, he “whipped out” a harmonica and played a “rousing rendition” of “Wagon Wheel” with some musicians playing at the bar, according to The Washington Post.

After he was done playing, he reportedly said he was “ready for another beer” and drank a White Zombie White Ale which is one of the bar’s specialties.
Before getting to the bar, he dined at Buxton Hall, a barbecue restaurant which is on Bon Appétit’s Hot 10 for 2016. The list came out today, so he’s right on trend.
So far, Kaine definitely has the best taste of anyone on the campaign trail. Given Donald Trump‘s proclivity toward cherry-vanilla ice cream and the fact that he scrapes his toppings off his pizza, it’s unlikely anyone is going to catch up to him.
