Amy Schumer on Donald Trump: He’s the ‘Guy in the Bar You’d Walk Away From.’
Last night, Amy Schumer appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen after the first presidential debate. Schumer wore an “I’m With Her” t-shirt, and of course, their conversation revolved in part around the face-off between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
On Trump’s sniffling, Schumer said “I didn’t know he couldn’t breathe through his nose… But, just like the rest of him, he didn’t let that stop him from trying to breathe through his nose … Yeah, that was really distracting.”
She also commented on Trump’s remarks about Rosie O’Donnell. Last night he said, “I said very tough things to her, and I think everybody would agree that she deserves it and nobody feels sorry for her.” Schumer said that words like that just show how “inhumane and erratic she can be.”
The comedian and actress then compared him to “the guy in the bar you’d walk away from… You’d be like, ‘Eh,’ or you’d be like, ‘Can we go somewhere else? This guy keeps talking to me about insane ideas.'”
On Hillary? “I thought she killed it,” Schumer said.
She also encouraged everyone to get out and vote. Schumer noted that “it’s annoying when famous people talk about politics, but it’s too detrimental and it’s too frightening a time to keep your voice shut if it’s one that people listen to, and we need to elect Hillary. Come on guys.”
