The Republican Party Has Officially Voted to Make Donald Trump Their Nominee

trump nominationDonald Trump has officially been nominated to be the Republican nominee for President of the United States.

Trump needed 1237 votes to meet the threshold, and despite whatever efforts #NeverTrump Republicans took to push for a last-minute save, he hit his goal.

So it’s official: Trump is the GOP nominee.

The former host of The Apprentice, whose entire campaign was considered a joke last summer, has successfully claimed the nomination of one of the United States’ two political parties.
