‘Should I Keep the Twitter Going or Not?: Trump Asks Crowd at Inaugural Ball

While visiting the Freedom Ball, the second of the three inaugural balls he will hit tonight, President Donald Trump addressed the crowd and continued to air grievances about the campaign and the “dishonest media.”

Telling the audience that “we will not be taken advantage of anymore,” the newly inaugurated POTUS moved on to his Twitter account. Explaining that they’ll all be hearing about a lot of things his administration is going to be doing, he said they’ll be reading things they don’t know about, seemingly referencing his now-common refrain of “fake news” when he disagrees with a news story.

“Let me ask you, should I keep the Twitter going or not,” he asked. “Keep it going? I think so. I think so.” Trump now has an official government Twitter account along with his personal account.

He continued, “You know, the enemies keep saying oh, that’s terrible, but it’s a way of bypassing dishonest media right?”

Trump went on to complain about the “phony polls” during the GOP primary but how they went to number one right away.
