Anne Hathaway and Rihanna Join The All-Female Reboot of Ocean’s Eleven

Screen-Shot-2016-08-10-at-4.19.01-PM-e1470860481776The all-female reboot of Ocean’s Eleven, called Ocean’s Eight as of now has announced the addition of two more actresses to its roster. Anne Hathaway and Rihanna will be joining Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Mindy KalingHelena Bonham Carter, and Awkwafina in the movie which, according to Deadline, is set to begin production in October.

Bullock will star as Danny Ocean’s ex-con sister. Ocean was played by George Clooney in the original films, so hopefully that means he’ll be making an appearance, though that hasn’t been confirmed.

There is also still room for one more person to make up the eight. No official word on who it will be yet, though it was rumored that Elizabeth Banks is being considered, which we definitely would not be mad about.

The film was written by Gary Ross and Olivia Milch and will be directed by Ross. Steven Soderbergh, who directed Ocean’s Eleven is producing.
