41st Annual Daytime Emmy Award Winners: Just the Food Shows

The Daytime Emmy Awards were presented last night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and if you were confused about which network was carrying them, that’s because the answer was none of the above. For the first time this year, the Daytime Emmys were broadcast online-only, streaming at, and hosted by Kathy Griffin. (That Young and the Restless crowd sure is getting hip to the game.)

The big food series winner this year was Mind of a Chef for Outstanding Culinary Program, which beat out the likes of Giada at Home and Bobby Flay’s Barbecue Addiction. Bobby Flay struck back, though, to win Outstanding Culinary Host, beating out Sean Brock and April Bloomfield at the helm of Mind of a Chef’s second season.

Mind of a Chef is executive produced by Anthony Bourdain, Joseph Caterini, Chris Collins, Lydia Tenaglia.
