WATCH: Sneak Peek Of Anthony Bourdain’s New PBS Show, Starring David Chang

Topping the list of TV shows we can’t imagine on wholesome, educational, publicly-funded channel PBS is a cooking travelogue starring David “How Many Ways Can I Say Fuck” Chang, narrated by Anthony Bourdain. So many bleeps. Is PBS allowed to have that many bleeps? Can we intercut this show with reaction shots of Anne of Green Gables looking scandalized from the 1980s mini-series?

In any case, Mind of a Chef documents “the kitchen, the world, and the mind” of David Chang, through the lens of Zero Point Zero, the same production company behind No Reservations, whom Tony is dragging over to CNN with him. On his travels, David comes across Aziz Ansari, Ferran Adria, Rene Redzepi, Wylie Dufresne, Mario Carbone, and Rich Torrisi (Treme gang, holla!). The Momofuku empire’s Executive Pastry Chef Christina Tosi will also guest star in an episode to demonstrate how rotten bananas make the best banana cream pie. Of course.

Check out the preview clip below to get a feel for the series, which premieres on PBS November 9th. (Also, to see Chang open up a packet of ramen and take a bite of the raw crunchy noodle square, which we previously thought was a thing only we did as small children. David Chang: the great equalizer.)
