Besides sticking it to morning television by rolling up a caviar blunt in prosciutto before quipping that the act “brought [him] right back to college”, Anthony Bourdain joined Good Morning America today to tease what we can expect from The Taste, his new ABC cooking competition series that premieres January 22nd.
Key points: amateurs and professionals are razed to a level playing field, because they’re only being judged on one bite (which professional chefs tend to overthink, giving amateurs the edge), and the judges (Tony, Nigella Lawson, Ludo Lefebvre, and Brian Malarkey) became surprisingly invested in their teams.
