Because super successful, completely adorable, cookbook-published, JBA-nominated bourbon swill Edward Lee actually went to school for writing. This does not mean all the bourbon you drink will someday earn you a James Beard Award!
Smartypants alert: Lee graduated NYU magna cum laude with a degree in literature, and “did the publishing thing” for awhile before he finally moved to Kentucky, fell in love with bourbon, opened ass-kicking restaurants, and is now in the process of producing the very first chef-distiller collaborated effort to create bourbons specifically developed for pairing with foods.
