Yes, friends. Someone out there, presumably named Gwynedd, is a genius. She found herself so inspired by the Julie and Julie story that she embarked upon a mission to blog/cook her way through another prominent, trail-blazing chef’s weighty cooking tome — Guy Fieri Food: Cookin’ it. Livin’ it. Lovin’ it.
If you’re unfamiliar with the sorts of culinary stylings Guy has to offer us non-famouses, it’s basically a cookbook filled with foods you would find standing in the frozen microwavable hors d’oeuvres section of a grocery store, but made from scratch. It doesn’t sound so bad when we put it like that, but do we really need to be making TGI Friday’s apps in our own homes?
So, Gwynedd began a hilarious blog chronicling her experience cooking through the book. She’s already tackled dishes like Cheddar Trans-Porter Soup and No One Can Beato This Taquito. And she hasn’t killed herself yet! Only 148 recipes to go. And we really hope she understand how sincerely we respect her. (Bonus: she’s got jokes.)
Begin your newest internet love affair now. And we’ll start the countdown to a bio-pic starring Joey Fatone as Guy Fieri.
