Oh, what’s wrong with that plate of mushrooms, you ask. Those seem like perfectly lovely fried mushrooms to me. Well, sure, except that MasterChef-testant Jordan took what was a pile of beautifully fresh mushrooms, cooked the everliving daylights out of them, and succeeded in producing a dish that looked (and apparently tasted) inexplicably like those fresh mushrooms came out of a can.
That’s a violation of produce. This is why we can’t have nice things.
