The legendary chef Paul Bocuse turns 87 today, and this is an enormous deal. For one, Bocuse celebrates a career that’s lasted over half a century, with his legacy including Michelin-starred restaurants, a world-class cooking competition, and the title of the reinventor of French cuisine. But also, the fact that he has a birthday (and is alive to celebrate it) puts a stop to all those horrible pranksters who want to claim that Bocuse is dead. (Seriously, people, stop being spotted dicks about it.)
Happy birthday, Mr. Bocuse — and may you continue to hunt in the woods!
