Paula Deen is Now Selling Fried Chicken Batter on The Internet

Everyone’s least favorite celebrity chef Paula Deen is, we guess, trying once again to make a comeback. Recently she made headlines for allowing fans to shop her closet. Now, she’s back in the food game. She’s partnered with housewares company Jokari to create a line of food products.

According to Jokari’s website, the partnership is an exciting opportunity “to bring storage and organization innovations designed with all the elegance and Southern comforts of Paula Deen in mind.” Awesome, can’t wait.pauladeen-new

There are five products labeled “coming soon!” They are mixes for hoecakes, fried chicken batter, fudge, cornbread mix, and cake mix. “She’s been very hands-on with the product line; it’s not just her name stamped on it. The first five came from some of her restaurants’ top selling items,” said Jokari CEO Don Saller. He also said there are “at least three more mixes coming.” Once the products are made available, they’ll be exclusive to Jokari’s site, but Saller mentioned that Amazon, Wayfair and Zulily are also interested in selling them.

Other than being an unofficial butter spokesperson, Deen is best known for an appearance on Dancing With The Stars and racism.
