Robert Irvine is getting his own show, but it’s different than you’d think. By that we mean it has nothing to do with food or physical health. The celebrity chef’s new show, called The Robert Irvine Show will “showcase him providing help to families with his signature ‘tough love’ approach to therapeutic work.”
The Slanted reports that the show will air on The CW on weekdays at 3:00pm, and will be made by Tribune Studios and John Irwin who is best known for programs including “Red Nose Day” and “Couples/Family Therapy.” Irwin says, “Robert has an impeccable reputation as not only one of the most successful and talented chefs in the world, he is also considered a role model and we are looking to embrace the philosophy that has made him a success, and use it to help individuals and families reach their full potential.”
Irvine added, “Helping people overcome their most trying obstacles has been an important part of my process since day one.”
We’re not sure what to say about this, so we’ll echo Eater‘s sentiments: Okay then.
