Teresa Giudice is Free!
Reality TV Star and Cook Book Author Teresa Giudice is a free woman today, having served 11 months of a fifteen month sentence for multiple counts of fraud. Giudice is best known for starring in Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” and for her New York Times bestselling cook books, including “Skinny Italian,” and various “Fabulicious” books.
Giudice served her sentence at Danbury Federal Correctional Institution (from Orange is the New Black), and is returning home just in time to spend the holidays with her family. She’ll be spending Christmas with her brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Melissa Gorga. Much of the “Real Housewives” show centered around ongoing family drama between them, but for the sake of spending the holidays together, they’re going to put everything aside.
Teresa’s husband Joe Giudice begins his own 45-month sentence in March and faces possible deportation. The judge in their case staggered their sentences for the sake of their four daughters, aged 5 to fourteen.
In addition to her books and the show, Teresa also has a line of bellini drinks, fittingly named Fabellini, and a line of hair care named after her daughter Milania.
No word on whether Teresa will be back for the next season of “The Real Housewives,” or if they’ve even started production, but according to Us Weekly, work is the last thing on her mind right now. She just wants to be back home with her family.
