What could possibly be more valuable than a feature in Food and Wine Magazine, a showcase at the annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, $125,000 furnished by Healthy Choice to help turn their culinary dreams into reality, and the title of Top Chef? Maybe finally getting that promotion you’ve been waiting for, like Kristen Kish just did: the Season 10 winner is now at a big name Boston restaurant!
Prior to becoming Reality Show Famous, Kish served as the chef de cuisine at Barbara Lynch’s Stir, a private demo/teaching restaurant in Boston. With her high-profile win on Top Chef, however, Lynch has promoted her to be the chef de cuisine at Lynch’s renowned high-end restaurant, Menton. “She is an exceptionally gifted chef with amazing heart, integrity, and an incredible understanding of what it takes to create beautiful and delicious dishes,” the proud Lynch told Grub Street Boston.
Congratulations, Kristen — though obviously, taking on such a high-profile position is not as prestigious as being the winner of an elimination challenge in which you made an onion ring. Step up your game, Kish.
