Of all of the things to troll a politician for, ham and cheese sandwiches rank pretty low on the list of things we can all see coming.
Yesterday, restaurants, bloggers, and Instagrammers alike celebrated National Sandwich day by sharing beautiful photos of amazing ingredients between two sliced of bread. Scott Walker, the governor of Wisconsin posted this:

Today, Walker doubled down and also attempted to relate to “millions of Americans” by announcing via Twitter that every day for lunch for the past 26 years, he’s eaten two ham and cheese sandwiches that he brings from home. To go along with the Tweet, he posted a blurry picture of him holding a jar of mayo.
For 26 years, I’ve eaten 2 ham & cheese sandwiches nearly everyday. Like millions of Americans, I bring my own lunch to work. pic.twitter.com/9BtGMK1vtr

The Internet was all like, ummmmm okay? Here are some of the best Twitter reactions to Walker’s very boring revelation.

@ScottWalker You are what you eat. What I’m trying to say is: you are approximately 18,980 ham sandwiches, my man

@ScottWalker why do you hate supporting local restaurant owners?
