Curtis Stone and his accent stopped by the fourth hour of Today this morning in advance of the opening of his new Los Angeles restaurant Gwen. He made a light summer pasta with a ton of veggies- an interesting choice given that the menu at the new place will be meat-centric, including a rumored on-site butcher shop.
Generally, however, Stone does great work with vegetables. This morning he showed Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb how to make a lightened up summer pasta. If you have time to make fresh pasta and pickle your own chilis, the recipe will be a cinch. Also, if you can do those things, please invite us over for dinner sometime. If not, this is a great recipe to modify.
