This weekend will be a fantastic one for New Yorkers, as it’s the weekend of food writer Josh Ozersky’s carnivorous bacchanal, Meatopia, featuring butchers and famous meat-loving chefs like Alex Guarnaschelli, Sean Brock, Adam Perry Lang, and Michael White. But even if you won’t be anywhere near the festival on Randall’s Island, inhaling the wafting smoke of charred meat floating up to Zeus and the gods, you can celebrate Meatopia in one of three ways:
- Taunting vegans.
- Grilling your own piles of meat.
- Watching this video trailer of the event, which features a theme song with a sound like They Might Be Giants and lyrics like Titus Andronicus.
