- CNN‘s Parts Unknown received four nominations, and Anthony Bourdain got an additional Outstanding Host For A Reality Or Reality-Competition Program nod for playing the canceled ABC series’ frustrated father figure, as counterpoint to a doddy Nigella Lawson who always seemed to pick the worst contestants so she’d get off the air as fast as possible, Ludo Lefebvre who’s done with TV and just wants to focus on his restaurants and win James Beard awards, and Marcus Samuelsson who should just focus on his restaurants period.
- Executive producer Guy Fieri received a nomination for Outstanding Structured Reality Program for the latest season of Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives which finally brought the Food Network star to south Jersey and a first visit to his Atlantic City restaurant nearly a year after it opened.
- Top Chef received another nomination for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program probably because everyone on it just feels so good after they take a hit of whatever Tom Colicchio is smoking.
- Wahlburgers got a nomination for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program which is at least a quarter right.
