Yelp Employee Gets Fired For Asking For Living Wage: Morning Roundup

A Yelp employee was fired after writing an open letter to her CEO on Medium. She complained about not being able to afford groceries and not having enough cash for her daily commute, which is 30 miles away from her job because it was the only place that’s cheap enough while still being close to public transportation.
