A gas pipeline rupture led to fire breaking out in the Gulf of Mexico on Friday.
According to the Associated Press, state-owned oil company Pemex said a gas leak caused the fire at the Ku-Maloob-Zaap field, and that no one was injured.
The leak near dawn Friday occurred about 150 yards (meters) from a drilling platform. The company said it had brought the gas leak under control about five hours later.
