The memorial for slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk is scheduled to get underway on Sunday afternoon in Glendale, AZ.

Thousands of people arrived before sunrise to secure one of the 63,000 seats at State Farm Stadium. Once the overflow areas at Desert Diamond Arena next door are tallied, authorities expect upwards of 100,000 mourners to have shown up in person to celebrate the life of Charlie Kirk.

Security is high as the White House is set to send two planes full of Trump administration officials and staff for the memorial, according to press secretary Karoline Leavitt.

Dignitaries expected to speak about Kirk’s legacy include:

Worship music is being led by Chris Tomlin, Brandon Lake, Phil Wickham, Kari Jobe Carnes, and Cody Carnes. In addition,  Lee Greenwood and Steve Amerson are expected to perform.

Kirk’s organization Turning Point USA, released guidelines for those attending the memorial, including “a patriotic dress code and a strict no-bag policy.” In addition, TPUSA asked that flowers not be brought to the stadium, but delivered instead to their headquarters on East Beverly Road in Phoenix.

The 31-year-old Kirk was shot and killed while speaking at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10. He is survived by his

wife, Erika, and two small children. The university held a “Vigil for Unity” on Friday in Kirk’s honor.
