Donny Deutsch was bursting with praise for Vice President Kamala Harris after an address on Monday night following President Joe Biden dropping from his reelection campaign and endorsing her.
Deutsch, host of the On Brand podcast, joined MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace on Monday night to react to Harris’s speech and he was so taken with it, the pundit said he “kind of fell in love” watching the “twinkle in her eye.”
“You know, there was a twinkle in her eye. There was a kick in her step that — you know, when you’re vice president, you know, you’re not loose, you can’t — you know, there’s somebody above you, there’s somebody, you don’t want to overshadow them, and this was quite the coming out,” Deutsch said.
The fawning continued as the frequent Morning Joe guest described getting “chills” when Harris address Donald Trump, telling the former president, “I know your type.”

Harris has not yet become the official presidential nominee for the Democratic Party, but she’s been quickly earning endorsements and she’s already secured the needed delegates.
