7.2-Magnitude Earthquake Hits Mexico
A powerful 7.2-magnitude earthquake struck 164 miles southwest of Mexico City Friday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The center of the earthquake was near the resort city of Acapulco on the Pacific coast.
“There are some broken windows, but so far we have no dead or injured,” Ricardo de la Cruz, director general of the Civil Protection Agency told the Associated Press.
