A Naked Statue of Hillary Clinton Appeared in New York Today, and Everybody Went Nuts
Hey! Remember those naked statues of Donald Trump that became sensations of mockery a few months ago? Well…it would seem that a New York artist tried putting it in reverse, which caused a public meltdown.
Early Tuesday morning, Anthony Scioli raised a naked statue of Hillary Clinton in downtown Manhattan. The depiction is hardly flattering. It depicts Clinton with hooves instead of feet, and a Wall Street banker is shown cuddling up to her.
Less than three hours after the statue went up, Scioli got in a huge fight when a museum worker started shouting at him and toppled the statue. As a crowd gathered around to watch the fight, the museum worker, who identified herself as Nancy, blasted the “obscene” caricature as she repeatedly hit the statue and stopped Scioli from putting it back up.
According to New York Daily News, the NYPD arrived at around 8:30 A.M. and ordered Scioli to remove the statue because he lacked a permit to set it up. The statue’s creation was reportedly accredited to Mini Master and Boogie Night production, meaning that it was not set up by INDECLINE, the collective responsible for the naked Trump statues.
