CNN’s hiring of Donald Trump‘s former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, has them in some hot water, not least of all with their own employees. Though he promised to “tell it like it is,” he has a nondisclosure agreement with the Trump campaign that staff at CNN know will make it very difficult for their new commentator to tell it like it is in any sense.
That NDA has Anderson Cooper particularly riled up. He thinks that before any segment featuring the embattled ex-manager airs, the network should announce that Lewandowski signed it and as a result, cannot disparage Trump in any way. According to Page Six, Cooper doesn’t want Lewandowski on Anderson Cooper 360 at all because of the risks associated with the NDA.
CNN sources swear, meanwhile, that Cooper has no issue with Lewandowski and was going to have him on last night but was forced to bump him in favor of a panel on breaking news about the terrorist attack in Turkey.
Hmm. What do you think?
