Ben Carson Baffles CNBC’s Harwood on Gays: ‘I Don’t Know What You’re Talking About’

Ben Carson has made a lot of controversial comments over the years about gay marriage, going back two years to when he linked gays to pedophiles and “people who believe in bestiality.” Recently Carson said he just won’t talk about gay rights anymore, but that has not stopped him as of yet.

Case in point, in part of an interview released by CNBC today, Carson was asked by John Harwood about his views on the definition of marriage. And Carson asked, “If you change the definition of marriage for one group, what do you say to the next group?”

Harwood appeared to be confused as Carson told him, “I think you know.” Harwood said, “Honest to God, I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Carson explained he’s referring to “other variations on traditional marriage.” And while he didn’t get more specific, Harwood pointed out bigamy in particular (and polygamy no doubt included).
