Bernie Sanders Riffs on GOP’s Obama-Blaming: ‘If It’s Too Hot’ It’s His Fault

PicMonkey Collage - SandersDuring a campaign event in Boston yesterday, Bernie Sanders took aim at the supposed trend amongst Republicans to blame President Obama every time the nation faces any major problem.

“In their world, every problem that you can possibly imagine is caused by Barack Obama,” Sanders said. “If there is rain, if it’s too hot, if there’s a mosquito in the room, it is all Barack Obama.”

The president has been taking heat from his detractors in the GOP last week due to his passionately angry White House press conference where he made the case for politicizing gun control in the wake of the Oregon shooting and other recent violent acts in the country.

According to The Hill, Sanders continued by saying the Republican candidates are suffering from amnesia with regard to the country’s state seven years ago, and talked about how he couldn’t live-tweet the last debate because he couldn’t take it any more.

“Some of you may have had the misfortune of watching the Republican debate a few weeks ago,” Sanders said. “I promised I would do some tweeting, and I watched it hour after hour and, the energy dissipated my body. It was a really painful experience.”
