Moments ago Republican nominee Donald Trump was suddenly rushed off the stage at a rally in Reno, Nevada.
No information about the incident is immediately known. Noah Gray, a CNN producer, just reported that the “apparent threat,” was enough to warrant Secret Service to pull Trump off stage in the middle of his rally.
This information is developing and we will update as more is known.
UPDATE: 9:12 p.m. EST: After a few minutes, someone was removed from the crowd; Trump returned to the podium and immediately thanked those responsible for ushering him off stage.
Noah Gray reported on CNN’s OutFront that according to local law enforcement, someone shouted out that a man had a gun in the Reno crowd — though it’s still unconfirmed at this time. Gray noted that a white man “in his 30s or 40s” was seen taken away.
Trump took to the stage again and said to the cheering crowd, “Nobody said it was going to be easy for us. But we will never be stopped.”
