Breaking: Two Explosions At Finish Line Of Boston Marathon Results In Multiple Injuries

Two explosions near the Boston Marathon’s finish line has resulted in up to 30 people injured, according to breaking reports. The explosions occurred near the Boston Public Library in the early afternoon on Monday.

Multiple threats of secondary devices have been reported. “Lenox Hotel one block from Copley Square evacuated,” tweeted CNN. Fox News has reported that the airspace over Boston is being cleared.

UPDATE: Authorities are unclear if there were multiple devices that exploded or one device that reverberated and resulted in reports of multiple explosions. NBC Nightly News reports that authorities believe only one “homemade” device is responsible for this explosion.

CNN reports that 2 are dead as a result of this explosion and 28 are injured.

UPDATE: NBC Nightly News appears to reverse an earlier report that only one device responsible for the attack. In a follow up tweet, they report that multiple devices have been found and two devices exploded.

UPDATE: More casualties are being reported at local Boston hospitals. CNN is reporting that 46 people are being treated for bombing-related injuries.
