Brian Kilmeade: Vice Portrays Bush as ‘Doofus,’ Cheney as ‘Satan,’… So There’s ‘Nothing Accurate About it’
“Donald Trump did not get a single mention by name” at Sunday night’s Golden Globes, Steve Doocy reported Monday morning on Fox & Friends. Still, viewers tuning in expecting the morning show to tee off on the Hollywood left were not disappointed — as co-host Brian Kilmeade unleashed on the Dick Cheney biopic Vice, and star Christian Bale.
The show played a clip of the actor thanked “Satan” for providing him inspiration to play the former vice president. After the clip, Kilmeade teed off on a movie he has not yet seen.
“He did make him seem like Satan, by reports,” Kilmeade said. “Also made [Donald] Rumsfeld seem extremely evil…President [George W.] Bush look like a doofus. Condoleezza Rice totally was ignored, as was Karl Rove, they didn’t say a word, evidently, in the entire movie. And Colin Powell was duped. So nothing accurate about this movie. But it was good enough for Christian Bale to play it, and get an award for it. I don’t know anyone who saw it.”
Kilmeade went on to read a viewer’s Facebook message about Bale:
“But he had no problem receiving money portraying Cheney,” the viewer wrote.
“I was thinking the same thing,” co-host Ainsley Earhardt said.
