Panelists on The View panned Sarah Palin‘s behavior during a recent trip to the White House.
Sunny Hostin was quick to point out that Palin’s remarks about bringing Ted Nugent and Kid Rock because Jesus was booked were offensive because she was seemingly likening the crude rockers to the Christian deity. After that, the ladies went after this photo:
The two singers and the former GOP Vice Presidential nominee were seen posing with a portrait of former First Lady, Senator, Secretary of State, and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. They were smirking and pointing to the painting.
“Is this the saddest day in the history of the White House since the British burned it to the ground in 1814?” wondered Joy Behar.
Sara Haines pointed out that in a later interview, the picture’s subjects admitted at least one of them had wanted to give the portrait a less appropriate finger. She followed up that revelation with, “You’re in the White House. Bring a little class with you!”
“They’re making America great again,” quipped Joy.
Paula Faris questioned if there was a little selective outrage happening, but Jedediah Bila said that such behavior in the White House undermines the current administration in a unique and real way.
