Bristol Palin’s Reality Show Knocked Out Of Primetime For A Re-Run Of Dance Moms
It appears that Lifetime doesn’t think Bristol Palin is quite ready for primetime. America’s most famous teen mom is seeing her program, Life’s a Tripp, shifted around on the network’s schedule, replaced in the 10 P.M. hour by a re-run of the show Dance Moms. The network announced that the change will begin this week, with Palin’s show now airing at 11 P.M.
According to Yahoo! News, the show “premiered June 19 to dismal ratings and a critical drubbing,” which could very well have led to the scheduling change:
Now, Lifetime is yanking the program from prime time and pushing it back an hour on Tuesday to 11 p.m, a network spokesperson confirmed.
It will air a repeat of “Dance Moms” in the docu-series’ old slot.
In its debut, “Life’s a Tripp” eked out a total audience of 726,000 viewers and a meager 0.2 rating in the key 18-49 demographic.
The show follows Palin’s life with her son now that she lives in California and works on independent projects.
