Chris Cuomo Snipes at Trump in Morning Tweetstorm After CNN Scare: ‘Bomb Threats…Set One’s Jaw a Bit’

Chris Cuomo spent Friday morning taking a few swipes at President Donald Trump on Twitter — and he chalked it up, in part, to the bomb scare at CNN’s New York headquarters on Thursday night.

In a mini-Tweetstorm, the Cuomo Prime Time anchor knocked Trump over the news that Chief of Staff John Kelly is set to resign from the administration.

“[I]f the general decides to go another way, wonder if trump will look to his caddy or some other familiar face,” Cuomo wrote. “Personal pilot for FAA, personal doctor for VA, personal morning show anchor for UN, why not?”

Cuomo went on to further criticize Trump’s Cabinet appointments.

“[C]abinet level people should be experts in the area,” Cuomo wrote. “We deserve the best – not just empty promises of the best.”

A Cuomo follower mused that the anchor is “on tilt” this morning.

“Bomb scares do that,” Cuomo wrote — referencing Thursday night’s threat which resulted in CNN being evacuated. “Tend to set one’s jaw a bit.”
