It hasn’t been much more than an hour since news broke that South African comedian Trevor Noah will succeed Jon Stewart as host of The Daily Show some time later this year. But the congratulatory messages are already pouring in on Twitter.
This tweet, from comedian Chris Rock, whose name was tossed around as a long-shot candidate for the gig, is definitely the most pointed response so far, earning a retweet from Noah:
