Clinton’s Latest Op-Ed in Utah Newspaper Targets Mormons, Nods to Romney

While everyone is arguing over whether or not Donald Trump called for her to be shot, Hillary Clinton is busy putting in work to win over voters of individual states. Today, residents of Utah learned that when they saw the following in the Desert News:

She’s targeting Mormons! Unlike some super PACs and campaigns we could mention, she’s not slandering Melania Trump to do it, either. Instead, with one little op-ed in a Utah paper, she is trying to draw parallels between herself and faith leaders in the community.

Oh, and she shouted out hometown hero Mitt Romney, too:

Trump’s Muslim ban would undo centuries of American tradition and values. To this day, I wonder if he even understands the implications of his proposal. This policy would literally undo what made America great in the first place.

But you don’t have to take it from me. Listen to Mitt Romney, who said Trump “fired before aiming” when he decided a blanket religious ban was a solution to the threat of terrorism.

Trump, on the other hand, has no Desert News op-ed forthcoming, but not due to a lack of trying on the part of the paper, according to BuzzFeed.

Will Clinton woo the Mormons? Time will tell…
